Concerned Citizens for Mercer Island Parks (CCMIP)

hosted an all-Island rally on Saturday 9/9/17 to

Save Mercerdale Park

The rally, Save Mercerdale Park – The Red Zone, advocated for those who have no voice, to speak for them today and for generations to come. Live music greeted attendees, Native Garden experts were on-hand for tours and lots of RED was worn. Huge red balloons anchored the 270 feet front length and floated 35 feet high to show how massive the proposed development would be.

Hopefully, our efforts this day help save, once again, a public park on Mercer Island.
